Networking

 

Hello Everyone:

It was a rather nice day.  I got what I needed to do done and the plumber came to fix the sink in my bathroom.  I need more work done to my bathroom but I'll call maintenance tomorrow or the day after.  Another thing I need to do is some networking with people at local schools.  My initial contact sent me a list of people to get in touch with, including a real estate agent for work possibilities.  The real estate agent would be more doing administrative/research work in the office or remotely.  Perhaps I'll spend some time tomorrow contacting people.  Just be persistent and I'll get what I want and need.  It's a lot of work but at least I have something to do.  This means I need to start getting up earlier and go running before breakfast.  This way I have the extra time to network.  Changing the subject, I think the heat eased up for now.  The humidity is still here but it's not so intense.  Thank goodness, it was getting unbearable.  I'm so looking forward to cold weather again.  At least it makes self-isolation a little easier because it's too hot to go anywhere, then it gets too cold.  Somewhere in the middle is good enough to spend time outdoors.  Anyway, it's time for dinner
