Neutral

Hello Everyone:

Right now mum is passed out from the Xanax and I'm debating whether to wake her although it sounds like she starting to stir.  Darn, I was hoping for a quiet dinner.  Oh well.  I had a chance to do a video chat with the Brit BF.  Always nice to see him.  We would've talked longer but the tech gremlins decided to have their fun.  They also made blogging a wee chore but, nevertheless I persisted.  Things are pointing in a good direction for him and let's hope they pan out.  As for me, I'm neither optimistic or pessimistic about prospects.  I would describe my thoughts on the future right now as neutral.  I most definitely would like to get an offer from the city planning department.  I think the time is right for it to happen and I'm confident that I will be a success.  At the very least, it would get me out of the house for the day.  I'm sure the whole job site thing--work from home or go in--will sort itself out.  In the meantime, I'm still keeping my eyes open for opportunities that don't involve working for a newly indicated politician.  No big surprise that job post got pulled.  Anyway, I think I'll go and check in on mum, maybe see if she wants to eat supper.  Got to be the good daughter.
