Today was a pretty good day, crappy WiFi notwithstanding. I went to is sort of job interview after briefly internally debating about not bothering with it. I guess you can call it a good omen, I found seven dollars on my run this morning. This covered my bus fare and I came out a few dollars ahead. I'm not much of a believer in omens. I'm glad I did because the principal I met with is going to give me a try out next week. Yay me. The pay is good but not the hours but there's opportunities for more hours. At least if I get this job, I can put some money aside for a new laptop or 13-inch iPad Pro with a keyboard. That would be my preference over a traditional laptop, mainly because it's lighter. It's all speculation. I first have to get this job before I go spending my money. I will say this, I got a good vibe from this school. Usually religious schools tend to be pretty conservative. Things like multiple piercings-pretty mild by most standards-are frowned upon. Since I had my hair down, no one noticed them. Even if they did notice I have three holes in one ear, so what. If they hold stuff like multiple piercing or bright nail polish against, then that's on them. I can play along with the professional dress code but I do have my limits. Essentially, I have to cover up a little more than I prefer. Small price to pay for a paycheck. I do have my limits. A good thing I left my sleeves down and wore tights. If I get this job, I may need to stock up on tights. Minor things. I'm hoping things work out for the best.
