Hello Everyone:
Today was Thanksgiving Day. The day set aside to give thanks for the people, places, and things in our lives. I suppose if I was grateful for anything it would be for some of the new experiences I've had. They big one being traveling to the U.K. That was the best two weeks I had in a long time. Also, I'm grateful for the success of my weekly feature #BloggerCandidateForum. What I like about it is I can say whatever I need to say without interruption. Mostly, I get to share an insider view on American politics. I'm so grateful the way my blog has become a platform for me to explore my own interests and a cheap form of therapy. So far I'm grateful for a couple of things. Gratitude is a powerful thing. Gratitude makes you a better person, a happier person. I guess I should show more gratitude if I want to be happier. It's not always easy to show gratitude around people who treat you like a second-class person but there are other ways to show gratitude. I prefer action over words. You know, do something nice for another person. Also, paying someone a compliment is another good way to show gratitude. A kind word goes a long way. For today, I'm grateful for my wonderful BF and the way he's always encouraging me to move forward. He's good for me. Finally, I'm grateful for my audience who spit me to go one.
