It's Almost Over

Hello Everyone:

A mellow Sunday almost evening and time to write Dow a few thoughts. Thank goodness the Election is the day after tomorrow. Another week or two of this madness and I'll scream. I pretty much have my mind made about who I plan to vote for.  I made that decision months ago. I want to look over the California ballot propositions. Among the initiatives needing a yes or no are: repealing the death penalty, building more housing for the homeless, funding transportation projects, and legalizing marijuana. I have a couple of pamphlets that give me the bullet point and full arguments for each proposition. I'm leaning toward a yes vote on the marijuana because the argument against it is weak. Mom just asked me what if the two leading candidates are tied with in the electoral vote count?  I told that's a situation you don't want because then it's up to the dysfunctional House of Representatives to decide the winner. Mom thought it would be a fun idea. I think she's been nipping over to the local pot pharmacy. Although, if she started nibbling on pot edibles, it might make her more tolerable. Speaking of election-related matter, I finally watched the documentary Weiner, all the way through last night. It only solidified my opinion of him as a disgusting, narcissistic pig. I feel bad for his soon to be ex-wife because she tried her best to put on a brave face but toward the end of movie, you could see she was furious at him. I think any rational person would leave a person so self-absorbed like that. Anyway, time to eat. Later
