Hello Everyone:
Today was my birthday and for a change it was free of anyone making an issue about it. So happy I could just go about my day without any fanfare. Mostly, I didn't want the family do BF anything because they usually disappoint me. So why put myself through the agony. At least I didn't have jury duty. That was done yesterday. Mom was nice enough to get me a nice bouquet of roses and a gift card. Sis also sent me a gift card. Nice. The Brit BF sent me a copy of a book by one of my favorite writers. It was so sweet that he remembered that fact. I plan on reciprocating the favor. I love him for that. I may just have to marry him if and when he asks. I was so glad it was a quiet birthday. I got to go about my day, doing whatever I wanted to do. Okay, I posted on my blog and sent off a resume to a private preservation firm. That's what I want to do. I mean if someone wanted to take me to lunch or dinner, that would've been fine. In any event, it was all good.
