Comedy Legend

Hello Everyone:

I just came from a wonderful event at the local chain bookstore. Comedy legend Mel Brooks was in the house to talk about his book on the making of Young Frankenstein. He told some funny stories about the making of the movie. He told stories in the same pattern as a Chasidic rabbi. It was time well spent. I did manage to get a few good pictures and already posted them. I also sent them to the Brit BF. I think he'll like them. Speaking of him, we had a nice phone call today. So happy we got to connect. I love listening to him talk. His voice is so warm. More than that, I love it when he holds me. I just love so much. My quest for employment in the UK continues. I finally got in touch with HR at the Metropolitan Police and asked them to send me a .pdf version of the the application. They were nice enough to send me a link to the application packet. I have no chance of getting the job but you never know. Like the Brit BF said, it would be one very expensive interview unless we can Skpe.  In the meantime, I move on. The City Is taking its own sweet time about getting back to me. Why should I expect speed, look how long it took them to remember I exist. I could use something more to do with time and a paycheck wouldn't hurt. Anyway, time to sleep.
