The powers that be must of heard me on Friday because Mom didn't unnecessarily drag out dinner and I was able to crash early. Thank You. I have to say that going to bed early can do wonders for the body. I think I slept about twelve hours, getting up occasionally to go to the bathroom. Seriously. Anyway, the next morning I was in a better mood. I spent most of yesterday catching up on some long neglected reading. That felt good, just to wile away the afternoon reading. Even mum's presence didn't bother me. I guess an excellent night's sleep and Swiffer mop pads did the trick. I finally got sick and tired yelling at mom not to go into the kitchen after I mop. The solution came in the form of a trip to Target to pick up a few things including mop pads. Long wait for the floor to dry no more. The floor was clean and dry in a mere matter of a few minutes. Sometimes, it's the seemingly innocuous things that make the difference. The one downside about yesterday was I found myself really missing the Brit BF. It's been nearly six months since he left and I have no idea when he's coming back. Fortunately there's Skype but it can't take the place of him actually being here. I hope he comes home soon. In the meantime, more opportunities for the City of Pasadena landed in my inbox. I also want to checkout a couple of websites this week for more opportunities. I keep hearing unemployment is going down and places are hiring but I'll believe it when I get hired.
