Hello Everyone:
Yesterday I was holed up in the PLB Theater and today I'm back in the Business Center. That's the good, the bad is I have to share with the kiddie after school art class. Oh well you take it as it comes. Being in the theater wasn't so bad, even with a football game on the big screen. I found a corner and made myself at home. I used to work in an elementary school, so the child-induced chaos doesn't bother me that much. One of these days I'll have a set place with unlimited internet. In the meantime, life moves on. The City of Pasadena came calling in my inbox with an Assistant Planner (historic preservation) opening. Of course, I sent the usual paperwork. The nice thing about that is the website the job was listed on already has all my information so it's simply a matter of looking it over, making any necessary changes, uploading a CV and cover, then hit "submit." How simple is that? The Brit BF is also having (had) a good day. So all is well on that end. The bonus part is it's a nice day. So, yes, it does sound like I'm having one of those rare happy moments. Come to think about, life has been pretty mellow for the last few days. Mom hasn't been too big of a pain in the behind and I've had some time to myself. In fact nothing has really been bothering me too much. Of course, that's today, tomorrow is another story. I do have to go to the grocery store and that sometimes put me in slightly bad mood when I have to haul the groceries home. Maybe that won't be so bad. We'll see
