Momentary digital-related tooth gnashing over the iPad keyboard. I really should get a keyboard cover for it. In the meantime, my cell phone carrier is having difficulty understanding that I want to pay for my phone upgrade separately. It's enough to make me want to bite through my nails, if I didn't have a manicure or actually had longer nails. Ugh. This all get sorted out eventually. In the meantime, mom was suitably impressed tha I got her flowers and a card for her birthday yesterday. I couldn't if she appreciated the gesture or was surprised that the envelop with the card wasn't ticking. I just wanted to do something nice for mom this. A small token, not really go all out. I'll wait until she has another milestone birthday then, hopefully, throw a nice party. In other news,there are a couple of more good job prospects that I want to check out. One is a research job and the other is a part time writing opening. Both look equally worthy of my attention. This seems to be all I'm doing is sending out resumes and filling out applications. Like the Brit BF says, you have to get skin in the game. I guess, the mere act of filling out yet another application and sending another CV is getting some skin in the game. I just wish I could get in the room. In the meantime, I write, keep up on things, and work on some skills. You never know. Oh well
