Another Monday and the start of a new week. The big thing to look forward to is the job interview in Santa Ana. Mom and the bf are more excited about it then I am. I'm just taking it in stride. The interview is just the first round. The human resources people just wants to meet with a wide group of people how meet the minimum qualifications for the position, from there, narrow the field that will love on to the next round. I'm not concerned about the fact that it'll be video taped, I'm just going to focus on the interviewer and the questions. Regarding the questions, since this a historic preservation related job, I expect the questions to be related to that. I feel confident about answering those questions because, after all, I did spend two years studying the subject and I still keep up with it. I think they might ask me about my historic preservation blog. Not so much about specific posts but more about why I started it, what I've learned from it and how would I relate to the position. I still should find out a little more about Santa Ana so I don't go in totally cold. Even though I'm not expecting to go through and I simply don't care, I still don't want to make myself look like an idiot. In that respect, I care just enought to not look clueless. I just want to present myself as reasonably competent. I think that's all anyone can do. I just have try not to stammer, mumble, stay calm and collected, and breathe. It's just one twenty minute appointment out of all the moments of the day.
