"No-No-Nortorious"

Hello Everyone:

I'm in a cheeky mood this morning.  Actually, I've been in a cheeky mood since yesterday evening.  I share a workspace with this British writer, I may have told you about him sometime back-the new guy.  Anyway, lately we've been exchanging flirty texts.  It's all in good fun.  I'm having a good time with it.  When we see each at the PLB Business Center, we're both very cool.  However, once we start texting, that's when things get fun.  It started last week after the Kings won game two of the Stanley Cup series.  I mentioned that I liked hockey and root for the hometown L.A. Kings.  We'll, after an amazing double overtime win by my team, I came to the conclusion that they were on a mission to give the fans a heart attack.  After I finished cleaning up for the evening, I checked my phone for messages and found a rather cheeky text from the new guy.  Engage.  So yesterday after the Kings regulation shutout win I started with an innocent text.  It then quickly got flirty.  I was giggling the whole evening, driving Mom insane.  She kept demanding to know what was so funny.  Of course I wasn't going to let her in on the cause of my giggles. This morning I chose music that reflects my mood-Duran Duran.  I blame them for my attitude over the last year or so.  What, pray tell, is this attitude?  Flirty.  Now that academia is behind me, I can relax and learn to have some fun.  Duran Duran has become the soundtrack for this attitude.  Specifically, I blame their bass player, John Taylor, for publishing his autobiography and putting me back in touch with all the music I'd forgotten about.  Somehow, it just fit the bill.  Even the bf has benefitted from it.  I don't hear him complaining about anything, including the sex.  Regardless, I'm having a good time for now and I just plan on riding the wave.
