I hope you all are enjoying this lovely summer weekend. I'm a bit sleep today so if I start to trail,off, forgive me. Mom really pissed me off this morning with the whole auto mechanic thing. My car has been out of commission and gas. It probably just needs a good tune up before I can take for its smog check. She seems to think I have nothing else to do but run all over the place from mechanic to mechanic getting estimates to fix my car. I get the fact that cost is an issue and I certainly don't want to incur any cost for any unnecessary repairs but running all over Los Angeles doesn't resolve the matter. In fact, it could make things worse, meaning more expensive. I quite ready to go to this one place within walking distance to my house. I don't want to get stranded somewhere waiting for a mechanic to fix my car. I don't have the time or the patience for this. This run around is so typical of mom. She's totally oblivious of the fact I my time is valuable to me and I need to write during the day.n While I don't mind going mobile, what I do mind is having my time wasted on something that can be fixed quickly and efficiently. I can work with mom on the cost issue but I wish she'd understand that my time is important and I don't like to waste it on unnecessary running around. When it comes to expenses and big purchases, I do shop around, via the Internet. I plan accordingly so I can go in, get what I need, and still have change left over. When it comes things like auto repairs, I place a premium on convienence and cost. If the mechanic is close by and does the only the necessary work, I'm happy. That's all I ask for.
