Work Plans

Hello Everyone: My Tuesday was like every other Tuesday, do a short grocery run. Fortunately, I got most of what I needed but I have to do my main shopping tomorrow. I really need to watch the expenses because I checked my bank balance and if don't cut back on the fun money, I won't have enough to last me the rest of the year. Also, I really need to find some steady work or source of income. Consider it hedging my bet against the teacher training program. I hope I get accepted to the program because it would open a great career path for me but I'm not holding my breathe. I do have to give myself credit for the fact that I have teaching experience, which makes me an attractive candidate and I have the education. The only thing I lack is some training and my credentials but that's why I want to participate in the program. Anyway, it's always good to have a back up plan and I found one. A local contact tracer job that, I believe I can do remotely, landed in my inbox. So, I took a deep breathe and instead of panic applying for it, I saved it and come back to it tomorrow afternoon. It's something I can do and it pays. A job at the local zoo pays but that's not exactly something I want to do. It'll work out. I applied for unemployment but that's going at turtle pace. The state unemployment office already has a huge mess to sort out with everybody and their brother applying for help. I should take my BIL's suggestion and walk in a resume to one of the local religious schools. The one nearest my house seems to have gotten it together in terms of regular, I think. There's another one further down the street that seems a little more together. I'll have to check them out. Regardless, I have to commit to something. I can only make the effort, not determine the outcome.
