A Good Interview

Hello Everyone: Thursday I had a video interview for the contact tracing job. It went well. In fact, the whole day went well. I got all the housework done with enough time to eat lunch, shower, do my hair and makeup. I was so happy. The interview itself was with someone from an employment agency, who's been hired by the local school district to fill their contact tracing openings. The pay and benefits are good enough that it would meet my needs. I have a second interview scheduled for Tuesday. Very happy about that one. Maybe I could feel human again. In other news, I had sort of an odd conversation with the Brit BF on Saturday. He told me that he was looking into spouse/fiance visas as a way to come back to the U.S. I checked it out and it looked like an awful lot of hooping jumping just to come back. Apparently a work visa is far more complicated. Fortunately his eldest sister and younger brother are lawyers who could possibly refer him to an immigration lawyer. I already made it quite clear that I'm not in any position to act as his sponsor but would be happy to write a letter of reference or statement about our relationship. He said he hadn't planned on asking me to sponsor him into the country. He's quite determined to come back, especially now that there's someone new in charge of immigration. I'd really love that. It's still along way off but I've got my fingers and toes crossed.
