Whatever Works



Hello Everyone:

I finally had a lovely.  Even my hair cooperated for change.  The reason for this nice day?  I got some things taken care of this morning.  I applied for a job and followed up on a few things.  I even got some resolution on the laundry room issue.  PLB is crediting the amount I asked to be reimbursed to September rent.  Not quite what I wanted but I'll take it.  I still have to replace the money I wasted and laundry supplies that ran out but whatever.  It's done and dusted, no point in being greedy about it.  In my ongoing self-care regime, I decided to cut back on my sugar intake.  I have to watch the sugar, not because I'm diabetic or totally addicted to it.  I have to pay attention to it because I can easily eat food that's high in sugar, gain weight and feel sluggish.  To clarify, it's the sugar found in candy and pre-packaged baked that I have pay attention to.  Not easy at my house because mum likes her pre-packaged baked goods, and I admit they can be tasty.  However, my rationale is who's in control?  Me or that bag of cookies?  That doesn't mean I deprive myself, I just don't and can't have a lot.  Also, I think cutting back on the sugar will help the headaches.  Whatever works, right?
