Some Drama But Otherwise A Nice Day

Hello Everyone:

It's been a generally nice day.  There was a little chaos when I got home from the grocery store but it was manageable.  The drama at the local supermarket was another story.  Some homeless guy try to leave with a bottle of laundry detergent in his backpack and used a  can body spray in the middle of the store.  He got stopped by store security and an employee who asked him to leave.  The whole thing went down without an incident and life went on.  Anyway, tomorrow I plan to spend the afternoon on the online class I signed up for.  Should be time well spent instead of wandering aimlessly at the mall or somewhere else.  I need to do the orientation and the first lesson, at least.  Totally manageable.  I'm looking forward to learning the basics of grant writing and who knows, it lead to something good.  Right now, I'm taking it one thing at a time.  Yesterday, I did send a resume, writing, sample, and references to a local preservation firm.  This was something that fell into my inbox from grad school.  I feel confident in my skills to do the job.  Beside, nothing ventured and all that.  My thinking is sometimes the least experienced or skilled candidate can turn out to be the best choice.  The Brit BF sent me a link for an television series on architecture in the U.K. that I want to take a look at. Again, nothing ventured.  Alright, time for supper.
