Half Way

Hello Everyone:

A pretty good Wednesday for me.  Day 3 of the revised schedule went well.  I got the grocery shopping done in sweep instead of multiple trips.  I still may have to go back but it'll probably be for one or two things.  In the meantime, mum dogged me yesterday evening about accessing social welfare benefits.  It was obvious she didn't do her homework because when I pressed for information, she started hedging, saying it felt like she being interrogated by the Senate.  No, I'm meaner.  She finally gave me a name, which I promptly Googled and got in touch with.  I decided to at least listen to what I can get.  The final decision rests with me, something I have to drum into mum.  I had this moment of clarity this morning during my run.  That happens a lot, these moments when things become more clear, during my morning run.  I realized that she, in her overbearing micromanaging way, wants to help me and decided to meet her part of the way.  This is fair.  So I decided to reach out to the contact person mum finally gave and hopefully she'll get back to me.  I'll follow up in a day or two.  I also have to follow up with someone else about something else.  All good
