Postive Steps
Hello Everyone:
A less exhausting day. No going to the doctor with mumsy or groping my way through an online class assignment. The good news is the WiFi is back to functional at my house. I spent a really nice afternoon in the blogosphere, chatting about the right to shelter. It's an interesting concept, the idea to bring homeless people inside into temporary shelters. That's the problem, it stresses temporary solutions to a very intractable problem. What is needed is more permanent supportive housing for the thousands of people living on the streets. By supportive I mean, everything from basic life skills to counseling and job readiness. Some homeless people really should be under a doctor's full time supervision. Listen, I'm not going to solve it on my own, I can only point it out a say something. In less serious news, I think I lost some weight and that's a good thing. I've been focusing on taking care of myself. I have to do that because I was just a wreck. I've made a point to cut back on sugar, my big vice. I find that when I do that I actually have more energy and sleep better because no there's no energy spike. I'm starting to notice the clothes are fitting better, always a good sign. Positive steps every day.
