New Friend

Hello Everyone:

The youngest nephew was better behaved today. He came by, as usual, but stayed for a short period before going to a friend’s house for the afternoon. Good. Better than taking up space on the sofa. The Dollar Store wasn’t too bad today. It helps when you time these visits after peak periods.  One thing I will say about the Dollar Store is there’s usually no drama, at least when I’m there. By drama I mean no homeless person getting caught walking with merchandise. I’m sure they have their moments but I usually miss it. Good. I seem to have made a new friend at the Business Center. An older gentleman with a family. Nice guy, a composer originally from the Ukraine. I have a friend from school who’s also from the Ukraine.  We chat and work. Reminds me of how I met the Brit BF but no chance of any romantic relationship. Come to think of it, this is how I tend to meet people. Just striking up casual conversations in a neutral place like the Business Center. Friending people has its limits and contact with an actual human is better.  Sometimes the two merge, when I meet someone Inknow online. That happened once and it was cool.  Anyway, I’m tired and it’s time for bed.
