Hello Everyone:
Nothing like a migraine to ruin an otherwise good day yesterday. I was still giddy from scoring an interview and possibly finding a new love when I get hit with a migraine. I was even having a good hair and makeup day. I'm better today and was able to function normally. I had a brief phone chat with the Sometime BF and he asked me if we were a couple. The short answer is yes, considering we've made love enough times. I told him point blank that only thing left to do is put a ring on it. That kind of freaked him out. Since I was standing in the middle of the dollar store, I didn't want to have that conversation right then. Quite frankly, I don't want to keep doing the same dance we've been doing for a long time: the relationship heats up and then he backs away. We've known each other for years and I know he's crazy about me and I like him enough but something is still holding him back. If it's the specter of divorce, then he needs to get over it. Just because one of his brothers is divorced, doesn't mean he'll end up the same way. This one of the things I love about the Brit BF, he knows what he wants and goes after it. The Sometime BF has a tendency to overthink everything. I know because I do it too. In this case, there's no reason for any hesitation because we know each other so well. Granted, we're not exactly in the best position (financially at least) to do much but it's not permanent situation. Anyway, he's due here tomorrow for ansleep over, finally. Maybe this is another milestone on the way forward. Regardless, I would like to know his intentions.
