Hello Everyone:
I spent my Fourth of July getting over a stomach virus. One of those really weird things. I woke up yesterday, feeling sniffly and achy but not too bad, so I decided to stretch my legs. I came home and made my usual breakfast, then suddenly I started to feel sick. Really sick, barely made it to the bathroom in time. I looked and felt gross. Anyway, I eventually pulled myself together so I could carry on with my day. I started to feel sick again about an hour before my appointment at The Genius Bar but I still managed to pull it together and go. The appointment itself was pretty good. The tech guy (it was a guy) and came to the conclusion that I need a new hard drive. Oh joy. He was very impressed that my current hard drive lasted 2-1/2 times longer than it should. I take good care of my devices. I already priced out hard drives and they run the gamut of reasonable to out of the spending plan. The next feat will be installing it in the machine. I'll an expert do that. Better safe than not. I briefly met with an Apple Business representative who outlined some options for me. That went okay. We'll see what comes out of that. Anyway, after the appointment I came home and was really feeling sick and achy. All I could manage was a bowl of soup, some crackers, and tea before crashing early. I started to feel sick again in the middle of the night but made in plenty of time to avoid the mess from the morning. I ended up sleeping until noon today and taking it easy. My appetite finally returned this evening and I made myself a very tasty veggie cheese and avocado burger. I still have a wee bit of a headache but that should disappear by the morning. My usual good night's rest should do the trick.
