Good News

Hello Everyone:

I had a really good afternoon. I was scrolling through my email when I saw something in my inbox from the school library I sent a résumé to last week. They want to meet with me next week. Yay. I quickly set up a day and time with them. Who knows, maybe by this time, next week, I'll be employed. That would be nice. The job comes with good hours (no weekends, evenings, or holidays), good pay, and benefits. Now there's a nice thought, being able to go to the dentist and optometrist. Even nicer thought, paying off some bills and saving up up for a new iPad Pro. Of course, having a few pennies for a trip to Sephora is a nice thing. Anyway, I shared the information with mum and the Sometime BF who were both excited for me. The Sometime BF wanted to go out and celebrate but I told him let's hold off and see if I get the job. It would be nice to have that cushion to move my plans forward.  Anyway, we'll see what happens. In the meantime, I have another message in my inbox about a careeer job. The applications aren't available yet but it looks good. Okay, nothing like a little forward momentum to put a spring in my step. I'll share the news with the Brit BF as well. I still like to keep in touch with him. He's always a good guy to chat with. I know exactly what he'd say right now: reward myself with a latte (maybebThursday) and chocolate (tomorrow). The Sometime BF suggested cheesecake-always up for that. This is good. Really good. At least, if I get this job, I be a little less bored with everything.
