Really looking forward to the new week after and trying week. If it wasn't the tech gremlins, it was mum going to the emergency room. On Thursday, I was all set to spend some quality on, what I thought was my feeling all better laptop. That did not happen because I couldn't get to power up all the way. Even an hour long chat session with a very helpful Apple tech didn't resolve the matter. So frustrating. I have another scheduled visit to the Genius Bar tomorrow. This better fix it. If it were up to me, I'd make the $1,300 investment and buy a fully loaded 13-inch iPad Pro. I like the portablility of it. While I'm at it, I'd get a smaller iPad for personal use and a new phone. Love my Apple devices. Did you hear that Tim Cook? While I'm at the Genius Bar, I want to meet with heir business representative to find out what Apple can do for my blog. This development came up during which course of a conversation I had, on Wednesday, with one of the geniuses. I gave him my card and he said he would pass it along to their business representative. I got an email from him yesterday evening and I mentioned that I was going to be at the store on Monday. I'm interested to hear if Apple can help me go from having a great idea to a great idea that generates income. I think hat's better than the Brit BF telling me what to do. As much as I still love the Brit BF, he's not exactly a neutral party with a way to connect me to someone who can guide me. The chat is free so why not take advantage of it. Who knows what might come out of it? At least Tuesday is Independence Day or as I call it, Amxit Day (American exit from the British mothership). Although given the stomach churning, brain cramping events of the past several months, I'm ready to petition The Queen to reinstate British citizenship for Americans who have had enough of the embarrassment in the White House. At least the weekend itself has been very quiet. Right now, it's time to eat. I'll let know what happens at the Apple Store (my toy store) tomorrow.
