The "Conveyor Belt"

Hello Everyone:

A good day in the blogosphere.  I posted a nice piece on the ten preservation losses of 2015.  It's a nice list of memorable buildings that met their demise last year. I managed to complete the post, despite my laptop's tantrum. It's all good. Right now there's a break in the rain. I stiffened my upper lip this morning and went for a run and got soaked from the rain. I really need to work on my puddle jumping skills.  The storm du jour is one of a series of storms. I love the way the Los Angeles Times describe it as "a coveyor belt of storms."  It makes sound like an assembly line of storms, made in some cauldron and dropped onto a conveyor belt ready for shipment.  However you describe it, I still got wet and my hair frizzed like crazy. More of the same until, oh I don't know, April?  A good thing I have an umbrella and shoes I don't mind getting trashed. The Brit BF has no sympathy for my soggy tales. He's from Northern England where the weather is always bad. He likes to brag about how hearty everyone is. A little rain doesn't bother him or northerners like him. The only thing I want to do when it rains is hibernate. The only time I want to go out is if I have to, otherwise I don't want to leave the house. I would do that now but we don't have Internet. Perhaps, that's a good thing because I'd end up being a recluse, regardless of the weather. Except right now.
