Hello Everyone:
I'm watching the opening monologue of the Golden Globes and the host, Ricky Gervais, is killing it. He's mercifuless on everyone. It should be fun. He's already made a lame joke about Schindler's List and the Catholic Church. I think it may have something to do with the beer on the podium and not everyone gets British humor. Right now Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill are doing a lame shtick on The Revenent. I love the Golden Globes because it a dinner-award with free flowing champagne. Add nervous nominees and you get an unpredictable evening. You get the idea.
In other news, the weekend was pretty quiet. It was pretty grey and cold, so no itch to step outside. Well yes, it's winter. There's more rain on the way but not right now. Thursday, I finally had to do something with my hair. The rain and humidity completely totaled my hair. It was impossible to deal with. I made an appointment for wash and cut, then I did the color. Much better. Random thought, I'm going to have get Amazon Prime. From the looks of things, they have great shows. Now, I wonder if I can stream House of Cards? Back to the news. The angst over the teenage nephew seems to have died down. What can anyone do? The hair will grow out and he'll mature, eventually. I think the chip suggestion the Brit BF put out has some merit. Insert a microchip in his head and using a phone app, get a push notifications whenever he does something stupid and sends an electric impulse to stop him before he does anything. I like that. Microchipping a rebellious teenager. Anyway, the evening looks pretty quiet, as does the rest of the week.
