Hello Everyone:
A good but slightly frustrating day today. Mom was out all day so I got to do whatever I needed today without dreading a sink full of dirty pots and pans. It was nice getting everything done with minimal interference. I then made my way over to the DMV to attempt to renew my license. Everything was going smoothly until it came time to pay and they don't take credit card at the offices, only online. Well that sucked. The upside, I made a new appointment for same day and time next week. It least I'll have time to prepare and my license will be renewed in time. The other good thing was free coffee. I some rewards points saved up for a coffee drink of my choice. The drink really hit the spot. I also took some pictures of these older apartment buildings on a street the Brit BF mentioned he was interested in. The buildings are vintage twenties and thirties deco. I think the Brit BF will like them; I like them. They're better built and detailed than the newer buildings. They fit in with his minimalist aesthetic. A domestic win-win situation. Now, it brings up the whole possibility of moving in with him. It's a scary thought mostly because I haven't lived with a man in a very long time. I've so used to having something that resembles my own space that sharing my daily life with another person-a man no less- is frightening. However, it's way off in the distant future so I'm not too psycho about it.
