Hello Everyone:

A productive day in the blogosphere for me. I posted something on one of Los Angeles's premier rock clubs. I was, as they say, in my zone. I'm finding that I like to take a break from more serious subjects and writes about something fun like historic bars and restaurants. Speaking of rock and roll, more people posting on Eagles of Death Metal's social media sites. I was reading people's accounts of near-death experiences-their own or loved ones-to me they're superheroes. They survived and refuse to hide that, to me, makes them a superhero. Some of the stories coming out of Paris are heartbreaking-people cut down too soon. However, life goes on. To hide and to hate would give in to the barbarians. This is not the way to live. Giving into fear and hate is overshadow by unity, love, and the courage to live out loud. That's a life. Anyway, sorry to be a downer but that's what it is right now.
