Small Wishes

Hello Everyone:

A somewhat frustrating day in the blogosphere. The good part was I managed to get in three-quarters of a good post on Detroit's progress out of bankruptcy. The bad was the spotty WiFi at the library and I had to re-write the post after blogger for the iPad lost it. Allow me to explain.  I had to go to the library today because the WiFi in the Business Center was down, again, so I ditched the laptop for the iPad. That worked to a point until I tried to add some pictures and the post got lost. I did have enough time to re-write most of it. Alright, nothing too earth shattering but equally frustrating. At least the Brit BF kept me entertained with his excitable messages. He's submitting a pitch to some animation companies and was bubbling with enthusiasm over the future celebration once the development deal comes through. I hope it all happens.  If I'm lucky, I'll be part of the celebration. I'm not planning to ride along on his coat tails. I want him to be successful and if I can enjoy a tiny part of that, great. Anyway, it's all speculation at this point. So that was my day.  I'm still feeling low about having to spend another birthday without him. He promised that it would be the last birthday I spend "unhugged and unsnogged."  I hope that comes true too.
