Finally a Friday. Actually this has been a pretty good week. No major crisis or other stress-inducing situations. Everything is just status quo. That's a good thing. When life is moving along at a nice pace, I can organize my thoughts better and turn them into action. The good thing of of the week was I applied for a job at an online news service. The job is for an Assistant Editor here in Los Angeles and it looks like something I can do. I just need to bring myself up on AP Style. I wonder if there's an app for that. I'll have to check the iTunes Store. I saw American Hustle evening and had a major seventies flashback. I'm not that old but the music and fashion had me thinking Studio 54 in it's disco heyday. The movie itself may have been based on actual events. It reminded me of the movie The Sting with Robert Redford and Paul Newman. Some of the scenes in American Hustle made laugh because they were so outrageous. Too bad the Acadmey of Motion Pictures failed to bestow upon it some Oscars because the performances, writing, and direction were very good, Definitely worthy of a trophy or two. Today, Other than tidying up the living room and kitchen, I can relax. Yeah. I think we're going to Sis's house again tomorrow. In one respect, I'm looking forward to it because there'll be people there I can talk to. On the other hand, Their Imperial Majesties, the in-laws, could also be there so I have to sit up straight and clean my plate or no desert. I also must bow and kiss their rings. I joke about that last point, besides they can kiss the diamond right-hand ring I wear. Either way, I'll force myself to be polite and charming. Good thing the BIL has tequila.
