Back To "Normal"

Hello Everyone:

Back to normal.  By normal I mean normal food.  I started my day with a bowl of oatmeal instead something Passover- friendly.  Now comes the replenishment.  Amazingly Mom didn't get too nutty yesterday evening with the post-holiday clean up.  I did some cleaning and organizing.  I think today she and the Minion will do more things.  In one sense, things were not "abnormal."  I mean life continued, holiday or no holiday.  The only difference being the week was bracketed by full on holiday.  I'm just relieved that psycho-mom has left the building, until the next big holiday.

The job search continues.  I think I'm going to change my indeed.com filter from social media to research associate.  I think I can find a better quality of prospects.  I also have some other resumes out on the world.  I started filling out an application for a state government job in the East San Francisco Bay Area.  It sounds like something I feel confident about.  The application itself is the usual "we want to know every intimate detail about you including your dress size" application.  The hoops one must jump through.  Off topic for a moment, I got something from the mandatory health insurance people, a voter registration form.  Not exactly what I was waiting for.  I disregarded because I'm already a registered voter.  Anyway, I need to get back to the state job application today.  The good thing about a government job is stability and benefits.  I could use a dose of that right now.  I still have feelers out for a job in preservation and a writing job.  I'm hoping something comes through.  I'm really getting tired of all this instability.  I mean I've enough of my current situation and want something better, more permenant, preferably right now.  I know patience.  Patience my toned arse.  All I need is now.
