Hell Everyone:

I had entirely frustrating grocery shopping experience today.  It seems as though everyone and their brother were behaving like complete morons.  One idiot parked his shopping cart in the middle of the aisle.  Another was just meandering through the aisle on the phone, not paying attention to anyone or anything.  To make matters worse, the store was busier than usual.  I got so upset I asked the clerk to hold my groceries and I'll come back for them.  When I shared it with mom, she told me I have to learn to be more patient.  Right, this is coming from a woman who stalks PLB maintenance just to get a light bulb changed.  She's a fine one to lecture me on patience.  To mellow me out, I took out my phone and started looking pictures of a certain bass player.  I immediately felt better.  The funny thing is, the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania tweet this quote that essentially said, "the camera is lousy, the lighting is lousy but people are beautiful."  I replied that I thought it should be the other way around #inacrankymood.  Much better.  I still have to go fetch my groceries but at least I can do this in a better mood.  The last couple mornings I've started listening to music as I shower and get dressed.  So far, it's been getting me off to good morning, until I have to deal with other people.  G-d people can such idiots at times.  Anyway, thanks to spotify and the I<3radio app, my mornings are little more civil.  Music does have the power to calm.

Today my friends from Arizona took their daughters to Knott's Berry Farm.  It's a nice place not far from Disneyland and not as big of a multi-sensory overload.  I love Disneyland but at times it can get to be too much of an overload.  I'm really grateful that I had the chance to see them and reconnect.  I miss them already and can't wait to see them again.  Hopefully soon.
