Chill Sunday

Hello Everyone:

A chill Sunday.  The way it should be.  I'm sitting here, curled up in a chair writing away.  I lve the quiet moments.  No rush to do anything, just a chance to catch up on a few things.  I read a couple of articles worthy of my attention and did some quick online browsing.  I like the fact that I can this time to myself to recharge and get myself ready for the week.  What does the week hold?  Mom going into her pre-Passover psycho mode.  Time to duck and cover.  Right now she's in the "what do I do first" mode.  This state is usually characterized by her moaning about how she has to make out a list of tasks that need to be done.  Of, course she hasn't done it yet.  On top of this, the exterminators are supposed to come next week, again, so everything has to be emptied out of the cabinets and drawers.  Yippee.  As long as I can find things and no food gets thrown out unless it's necessary, I'm fine with it.  The one big benefit is that mom hired a cleaning service to do the annual deep clean.  Yeah.  That means I don't have to do any housework, except the laundry.  Speaking of house stuff, the oven died, it figures.  The stove top works but doing any baking is out out of the question.  The real question is how long will it take PLB Maintenance to get us a new oven.  I'm letting mom handle this one.  At least the oven didn't die on Passover.  Hey chi happens.  It's like the one time my dad made potato pancakes on Chanukah and dumped all the peels down the garbage disposal, resulting in said disposal being replaced.  All part of the process, I guess.
