The Big Kid

Hello Everyone:

Friday night dinner with the family was a very enjoyable affair.  What made it so nice was the company was actually pleasent and "mommy" talk.  Thank G-d.  There was this very nice Chasidic couple who have a 20-month toddler and another due any second and another couple with a baby and a toddler.  The parents were diligent about keeping an eye on the children, which made for an uninterrupted meal.  The food was alright and I sugar-binged at dessert.  I felt so sick to my stomach afterwords.  At least the 192-proof liquor was available and it helped.  Having the bf there was so good.  The highlight of my evening came when I went to let the bf I was ready to leave.  He was sitting in the Sukkah with all the males.  I found him holding my sleeping little nephew in his arms.  It was so amazing to see this, I really wish I had my cell with me.  I truly amazed that my little nephew has taken to the bf in such a big way.  The nephew just adores the bf.  He's completely fascinated by the bf's clean shaven face.  They get on so well.  It's beautiful.  I love it.  I think it's because my bf is a big kid himself.  Fine, I'm a sixteen year-old girl at heart myself.  Last year I brought the bf to teenage nephew's Bar Mitzvah and the two of them spent the post-services reception having a good time, eating sweets.  On my phone, I have two pictures of the three of us at my sister's house.  All eyes and teeth.  This just makes me love the bf even more.
