Slow Day

Hello Everyone: A very quiet start to the week. Fortunately the department store was pretty quiet and I was able to get out on time and without grumbling about how much I hate it. I really need to find something better that let's me have my weekends back. Actually I would love a job where I didn't stand around all the time and waste my creativity, intellect, and energy. Retail work, in general, is so dull. Some people really enjoy working in retail, I'm not one of them. I don't why I ever thought working in retail was a great idea but here I am. The next step is looking for a better job, ideally a career-type job that doesn't insult my intelligence. Speaking of which, a good opportunity dropped in my inbox. It's a curatorial position with the city. There wasn't any specifics about it but it looked great. I'm so going to apply. Anyway, tomorrow is a day off. Ya
