Hoping For A Break

Hello Everyone: I had to go in to work today and, for a change, it was worth my effort. It wasn't that busy and my schedule was rearranged to my benefit. I was looking at working a somewhat difficult schedule this week and next. However, the other part time person agreed to put in some hours this week and the HR manager is hiring another person. For me, this means I just come in and close; not spend endless hours doing returns and standing around, doing nothing. The HR manager also informed us that she's in the process of hiring a part time person. I hope this happens because I really want something of a weekend back. I was chatting with my supervisor today and I mentioned that I missed getting together with my family, which is partially true. I don't mind going in on Sunday because it's shorter day. I just need a little bit of break from the stress of job. I did do something to change my situation, I applied for a museum job. It's a nice entry-level career-type job with stable hours and a regular paycheck. Exactly what I'm looking for.
