Make Better Happen

Hello Everyone: Today was a bit of a busy day at work. It was quiet but I had a steady flow of people at the customer service desk. I had one customer with a bunch of returns that broke my personal record for returns. Not that I'm keeping track or anything like that. I'm just glad I didn't have close and I had time to get some some groceries. The Brit BF messaged me during my shift. It perked up my otherwise boring day at work. I really need something more challenging to do. Retail work is really mind numbingly boring work. I feel like my brain is sliding into atrophy. Fortunately my department is about get a new person so I can have more time to devote to more intellectually challenging activities. I just really find working in retail so boring. Truth is I never particularly liked retail work. It's just something to do. I'd rather spend the time writing and reading a good book than process another return or put back some clothes. I need to make better happen.
