Tenacity and Perseverance Pays

Hello Everyone: Tenacity and perseverance pays. I scored a part time job at a local high end department store. That feels so great to write that sentence. The position is in customer service but I'll cross trained to work on the floor as a sales person. Did I mention it pays well and it's not far from me? One other things, no sooner did I get off the video conference I got an email from a museum about a job I applied to a while ago. The hiring person has my application material and will review it. Hey, why not? Even better, the hours aren't too horrendous, no having to show up at dawn's early light or stay late into the evening. April may prove to be a great month after all the anxiety I've been going through. It'll be nice to have some money coming in so I can do some of the things I want to do, like schedule an eye doctor appointment and buy new earpods for my phone. You know, nothing extravagent. Hey, I'll be able to afford to go see a concert in September. I think I might have to earmark some of a potential tax refund. I got the impression that it'll be busy, which I like, but not manic like during the winter holiday season. The manager I spoke seems friendly. I think this should work out nicely. Of course I had positive things to say about the last job I had until reality set in. At least this time I'm dealing with adults. Another good thing is that it'll give a stable base to go after the goals I want to accomplish. I feel like the sun is finally starting come through. No chance of the job getting pulled away from me, I already got written confirmation. What happened with the medical staffing company is past history. I'm done with them. Of course the Brit BF is happy for me. Right now, I'm going to enjoy the moment.
