Better Day

Hello Everyone: Today was a surprisingly good day at work. By surprisingly good I mean I wasn't bored or too panicked and I got out on to the floor. The only hiccup in my day was a shoe malfunction that I quickly remedied otherwise, all good. I met some more of my co-workers and they seem like nice people. It's amazing what happens when I decide to just fake it to make it. Just pretend like I find it all interesting just to get by. In the meantime I'm on the hunt for more career oriented work. Department store work is okay but not really part of my long term plans. It's kind of funny but this morning I was thinking that I'm happiest being left alone to do my own thing. I think that was a result of the pandemic. As it turns out, I enjoyed keeping my own schedule which is a real contradiction to what I've been saying about wanting to work and have real purpose to my day. There has to be a way to reconcile that. Anyway, got to clean up and lay out my day for tomorrow.
