No Fanfare

Hello Everyone: I had my first full day on the sales floor and it passed quickly, without any drama. Good, they should all be like that. I mostly did returns and pick ups, nothing noteworthy. I just have to keep telling myself that it's meeting my needs for now. The people I work with seem nice. I really don't have that much in common with them except for the fact we work in the same place. I'm grateful for the job but I really want to be doing something that's more worthy of me. Retail work is fine and I'm very certain it enables people to make a great life for themselves and their families. It just something I'm over but use it to make a quick dollar. So I'll just ride it out until I find something better. I'm definitely not waiting for the Brit BF to provide me with the something better. So, for now, this is what I do.
