Finally Some Good News

Hello Everyone: I finally got some good news today. It looks like my ongoing argument with the county government over food assistance is coming to end and all it took was an email to my state representative. I'm finally getting the card I need to by the food I need so I don't have to keep spending my money. So happy about that. Even better, there's plenty of money waiting for me so I can shop at the nicer grocery store, in addition to my regular haunts. Further, this business opportunity that I started seems to be the real thing and all I have to do is work it. Oh and one more thing, I have a video interview with a local department store. The interview is for a part time customer service representative. I have a feeling I won't be needing help with rent and food for too long. That's the best feeling of all. I'm still waiting for word on my application for rent assistance and I just signed up to be notified when the Guaranteed Basic Income application goes live. No guarantees about anything but all I can do ask. I figure all of this potential abundance will allow me to pursue my plans without stressing too much. Teaching is still on the agenda and I have a plan. My plan is to get hired at one of the local religious day schools and enroll in a program that specializes in teaching in day schools. Why day schools or, for that matter why teaching at all? Simple, the day schools offer a better work/life balance,pay and benefits, less bureaucracy, and plenty of time off. Sure there are the parents and all the cattiness but as long as I stick to my subject, smile, and look pretty I should be fine. I just hope this rough patch is finally coming to end and there'll be nothing but smooth sailing for here on out.
