Flurry of Activity

Hello Everyone: Thursday and Friday had a bit of activity. Thursday morning I was working out at the park, as usual, when I ran into a woman I usually chat with. During our conversation she mentioned that her children went to and her grandchildren (she's too young looking) go a school that I used to work at. This is the same school mum used to teach at. So I asked her if her children had mum for a teacher. She said they went to the school after mum left but her grandchildren are being taught by a friend of mum. I was surprised by this fact because I thought the friend retired by now. I looked up the friend in school directory and emailed her. A few hours later, to my absolutel surprise, she called me and we got caught. Admittedly, I had a slight ulterior motive, work, but she was nice enough to say she'd be on the look out for me. In the meantime, a few more possibilities dropped into my inbox and I spent a little time on Friday sending off applications. That capped off a week of work search activity. Something has to come out of all that activity. I'm grateful for all the opportunities that come my way, I just hope that one of them will yield something. I did second guess myself about connecting with the friend but decided that the second guessing was useless. Okay, more tomorrow.
