Why Not?

Hello Everyone: After all the drama, I had a quiet weekend. Sis and her family were for lunch so I got to sleep in and enjoy my Saturday. I went for a nice long walk, then read. In the meantime, an email from the healthcare staffing agency dropped into my inbox about finishing the onboarding process. At first I thought why bother? It's not like I'm going get placed in a remote contact tracer job. Then I thought, sure why not? At the very least I won't get their annoying HR emails and who knows, right? Anyway, on Friday I was scrolling through another job aggregate email when I saw an opening for a teacher's assistant at a mystery school. Normally I would've skipped because I like to know where I'm sending a resume to so I can check them out but no name. Intrigued, I sent a resume because if they're interested in me, the mystery school will reveal itself. Oh yes, the last school I tried is looking for people. Maybe if they didn't drive off TAs they wouldn't have to hire so frequently. I think this is the universe's way of helping me out. All these teacher assistant jobs are showing up in my inbox is some sort of a sign for me, this is what I need to do. I should really pay more attention to that. Another TA opening that caught my attention is at a school that I worked before going to grad school. I was too crazy about the administration at the time because of their laxness. It seems that the school has new people so maybe it's a little more disciplined. Again, why not? I have nothing to lose.
