Let's See What Comes Of My Efforts

Hello Everyone: I sent my resume and covering letter to the school I worked once before, finished the healthcare staffing agency onboarding, and had time for a haircut today. I say that was pretty good day. It was really nice to get out of the house for a while. The weather was pleasant: It was cool but not cold. It's the kind of weather that comes during the late autumn and winter. It's sunny but not warm. Still need to wear warm clothes but not heavy clothes like in the middle of winter. I made sure to leave early enough so I can take my time and cruise through the local mall on my way to the salon. Surprisingly, the local mall was quite busy. Actually I shouldn't be that surprised because it was a federal holiday so a lot of people were had the day off and went to the mall. I stopped in a clothing store to check out what's on sale and liked a few of the things I saw. As for the job stuff, I really have no expectations about either one, especially the healthcare staffing agency. The healthcare staffing agency experience was a complete mess. One minute I have a job, then the next minute I don't. I get that situations change and it really doesn't help that I don't have a car but reasonable accommendations can be made. I don't expect the recruiter to contact me to say anything, least of all an apology for misleading me. Even if she did contact me about a job, I want written confirmation from the person doing the hiring, not her. She proved to be unreliable. The school I applied to today identified itself in the post, outline exactly what the duties and qualifications are. I'm kind of curious about the mystery school. I have a general idea where it is but I don't know which one it is because there are several schools in the general area. I know exactly where the school I applied to today. It's an affluent private school, located in on a main street. It's also a well known school. The school and my family have a history. Both Sis and I went to school there; Mum and I worked there. So, yes, we have a history. The last time I worked there, I left on good terms. No drama or anything like that. Just thank you and goodbye. I checked out the school website and most of the people that worked with are either retired or moved on to other things. Fine. We'll what comes out of all my efforts. One thing's for sure is that I am putting in an effort to better my situation instead of brooding about it. When I brood, that's when the anxiety sets in. Alright, it's just about dinner time.
