Good News From Across The Pond

Hello Everyone: I got some great news from the Brit BF to perk up an otherwise dull Monday. The studio executive is sending his proposal to someone in creative development. This is fantastic news. No popping of champagne corks yet but it's definitely a step forward. Of course it prompted a phone call to him for a quick chat. Meanwhile, I'm still waiting for the new recruiter to get back to me about the HR Field Support job. I'm hoping to hear from him sometime this week. I'm also hoping the recruiter at the healthcare company I started with put in a good word for me. Meanwhile, I good opportunity just dropped in my inbox at a local museum. All good. Maybe this is the beginning of the break through I've been waiting for. The break through that will enable to finally relax and enjoy my life. All I want from life is just to finally be happy. Happy for me means being able to breath and not have to worry about everything. Happy looks like having purpose and independence. It means reveling in the ordinary things like work, going out to dinner with the Brit BF, not worrying about what to wear. Silly stuff that means so much to me. The big stuff like a house and nice car are the cherry on top. Give me the ordinary and I'm good. Right now give me dinner.
