Worth It
Hello Everyone:
A very toasty holiday lunch for me It that time of the year when all the big Jewish holidays come back-to-back, throwing my days off. We had the meal outside, which was fine for the most part but it was just really hot. I came home with a sinus headache and to lay down for a while. The best part of the meal came before we sat down. I finally got to hold my baby nephew. I was so excited and holding that adorable little guy made the jabs and masks so worth it. Loved it. My baby niece is quite the little lady. There meal itself was okay. I've been lobbying for misters in the outdoor enclosure we sat in in order to keep cool. The BIL is not onboard with it but I think if we worked it out, we could do it. At the very least, he could've installed a fan. Anyway, I got into a conversation with a lady who teaches at another school about undoing all the Zoom bad habits. Let's just say it's a struggle. We had a bit of laugh when I shared that the class I'm assigned has a reputation around the school and not a good one. It's a little embarrassing to hear other teachers and staff say "oh them" or "oh him" in reference to the students. I suppose it happens every so often. I'm sure they'll settle down one day. Anyway, time to eat.
