A Few Days Off

Hello Everyone: Nothing like a few days off from work in order to catch my breath a bit. I did indulge in some online shopping, buying something nice for myself. I need it after the whorlwind of getting hired, doing all the paperwork, and all the hoop jumping I had to do, it was nice to sleep in today. In the meantime, I'm still hot on the trail of a full time job but keeping myself open to making the school job the career job. I did get a little stressed today because I decided to my Wednesday shopping today, instead of the usual day because the Jewish New Year starts this evening and goes through Wednesday evening. I kind of want to enjoy the holiday a bit and not get too stressed on Thursday doing the grocery shopping and housework. It's not that I particularly like doing the housework--although I kind of don't mind the laundry--it's just that I don't everything piled up on one day. Last Friday worked out very well for me in terms of the house work. I came home, had a late lunch, tidyed up the kitchen, made some food, did the ironing, and had a nice evening. I cleaned the kitchen the next day. Anyway, tomorrow I get spend some time with the family and any possible guests. Hopefully it should be short, sweet, and to the point because I really don't feel like spending all afternoon at Sis's house, forcing myself to be civil. I'd rather hangout at home, blogging or doing other things but I did say I would come over and it wouldn't be that nice if I blew them off, no matter how tempting it is. Anyway, dinner time.
