Challenging

Hello Everyone: Friday was my first real day of work. The people seem nice and the teacher I'm working with really loves his job. There's another TA, a male, and a special education shadow, also a male, in the class. Both of them look like they just walked off a photo shoot. The boys are sweet but a real handful. A lot of the problem has to do with all the with fact they spent a significant amount of time learning online. They were at home, with their parents, watching the teacher give the lesson online with the sound on mute. They fisget, wander around, put their feet on the furniture, chatter incessantly, and so on. It's bad enough that the teacher met with the head master today to get some administrative guidance. I genuinely hope the boys'll settle into a routine soon but it's going to take a joint effort from the teacher, students, parents, and administration. Two of the boys have significant enough behavior issues that they require extra attention from a specialist. Great, this should be quite a challenge. In the meantime, I'm applying to career type jobs. Have to keep my options open.
