Weekend Rambling

Hello Everyone: On Friday, I received a response from the school I used to work for. They said not at this time. I briefly entertained the idea that they may get back to about another position. Not likely to happen You know what? I'm good with that because the thought of working in that toxic environment again wasn't exactly a thrill. So what's next? Revise my resume a little more, send it to the job coach for her thoughts, and apply to other places. There are others things I can do but the important part is earning a paycheck. A steady income buys the lipstick and heels. Yesterday I had a nice video chat with the Brit BF. He went on at length about the Portuguese soccer club. The gist of that conversation thread was there was something lost in translation. Apparently they thought his animation project was under development. He plans to send the Portuguese an email asking for clarification on their comments. In the meantime, he's got another prospect that involves celebrities and famous athletes. Sounds impressive and we'll see what happens. I'm hoping I can finally see two my nephews this coming week. I've missed more than their parents during my COVID break. Also it's Nephew #2's birthday and maybe he's parents'll remember to get him a cake.
