Making It Happen

Hello Everyone: An overall nice day today. I did some much needed grocery shopping for the week, picking up a container of one my favorite flavors of ice cream. I haven't had it in a while so I decided to buy today. It's got chocolate in it so how bad can it be? Yet another good teacher's assistant job opportunity landed in my inbox. Judging from the glut of potential work opportunities, it looks like schools are staffing up in anticipation of opening the doors again. Of course it would mean having to wait until mid-August and if I'm super careful, I can hold out. Who knows when and if the state unemployment office will get around to approving my application. I have a feeling that by the time they do get around to me, I will be employed. In which case, I can tell them thank you but I got from here. The even better part will be getting off the charity insurence. Yes, it's come in handy but it's kind of limited in the coverage. I also have plans to redecorate but may hold off for a while. Right now, the most important thing is a stable steady source of income. I do what I need to do to get what I want. The first step in getting what I want is speaking it into existence. I've done that. The next step is making it happen. That's in process. I think the Brit BF's go-getter attitude has fully rubbed off on me. I hate him, no I don't. He's a great guy.
